It gives me immense pleasure to present Volume III, Issue 1 (2026) of the Don Bosco International Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences, a peer-reviewed multidisciplinary journal dedicated to fostering critical inquiry, scholarly dialogue, and innovative research across diverse domains of the humanities and social sciences. This volume brings together a rich collection of scholarly contributions addressing a wide spectrum of themes. Several articles explore the intersections of education, technology, and artificial intelligence, highlighting the relevance of innovative pedagogical approaches and the integration of traditional knowledge systems within modern educational frameworks. A significant feature of this volume is its engagement with the growing influence of Artificial Intelligence and its relationship with Indian Knowledge Systems, language, storytelling, and modern educational practices. The issue also foregrounds pressing social and environmental challenges. Articles on climate change adaptation, green social work, natural resource management, and sustainable development in Northeast India demonstrate the necessity of community-centered approaches in addressing ecological concerns. Literary and cultural analyses featured in this volume further enrich the discourse by examining themes of identity, gender, mental health, spirituality, and queer representation. The Editorial Board extends its sincere gratitude to all authors for their valuable contributions, to the reviewers for their rigorous and constructive evaluations, and to the members of the advisory and editorial committees for their unwavering support in maintaining the quality and integrity of the journal. We are confident that Volume III of the Don Bosco International Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences will serve as a valuable resource for researchers, educators, students, policymakers, and all those interested in understanding the complex challenges and opportunities shaping contemporary society.
