The Role of Language and Storytelling in Indian Knowledge Systems Through Artificial Intelligence
Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) represent millennia of accumulated wisdom preserved primarily through oral traditions, Sanskrit texts, and regional languages. This paper examines how artificial intelligence can serve as a transformative tool for preserving, analyzing, and disseminating the linguistic and narrative dimensions of IKS. The intersection of language technologies, natural language processing, and storytelling methodologies offers unprecedented opportunities for revitalizing ancient knowledge while making it accessible to contemporary audiences. This research explores the current applications of AI in processing Indian languages, the role of computational storytelling in knowledge transmission, and the challenges of digitizing culturally embedded narratives.
